We met with Melec Çakmak, Founder of MC Art Architecture, and his husband Umut Çakmak, a successful businessman in Vienna, in Bodrum. Melec Çakmak talked about his successes in the business world, his goals and the details of the very special launch he will organize in Istanbul on September 9.

Vienna, Istanbul, Bodrum and the sea became our life cycle
Melec Çakmak, the founder of MC Art Architecture, opened his Istanbul offices in the past months to undertake important projects in Turkey after Austria. Vienna-based MC Art Architecture stands out as an important institution in the drawing and implementation of large projects in the real estate sector.
Melec Çakmak, an ambitious businessman; “Our biggest goal is to fly our country’s flag successfully in the international arena with the projects we plan to carry out. For this reason, we want to organize a big launch on September 9th and introduce our partner in Vienna, the world-famous Slovenian architect Sandi Pirs, to Turkey. Our greatest desire is to undertake very special projects together here. “I will also celebrate my birthday with my friends that day,” he says.
The fact that the Melec – Umut Çakmak couple are the biggest supporters of each other since they operate in the same sector in business life is one of the most important factors that play a role in their success.
One of the common points that emerged during the conversation was undoubtedly the sea. Ms. Melec; “The most important source of life for humanity is water. That’s why the sea has been a source of life, freedom, peace and endless inspiration for us. Even though we have a summer house in Bodrum, sailing at every opportunity and living on a boat is our source of peace and happiness.” He summarizes their love of the sea by saying.
